J Davidson Engineering CADD Services was founded in 1989 and has been using Bentley Systems MicroStation since then. John started using MicroStation Version 3.0 in 1989 and has updated regularly, also updating and redesigning the configuration / back end as required for the various types of work undertaken.

John has a very broad based background of 26 years in Fitting & Machining with experience in almost all aspects of the engineering trades, followed by 30+ years in CAD Drafting. John has practical experience in the following industries:

John retired from full time employment in drafting in 2016 to take on a consulting service providing design, build, and maintenance of Bentley Systems software configurations.
